How much food will the bag hold for marinating?
The Jack Daniel’s® EZ Marinader® bag will hold 2 to 3 lbs of your favorite meat
or vegetables. Just right for serving four to six people.

Can I marinate in the bag for more than 30 minutes?
Yes. By marinating longer, you can increase the flavor of the marinated food.

Should I refrigerate while marinating or leave at room temperature?
We recommend keeping the food in the refrigerator while it is marinating.

Can the food be cooked in the bag?
No. The meat, once added, must be removed from the bag prior to cooking. The
bag is not designed to withstand temperatures of ovens, microwaves, or grills.

Can I use the bag more than once?
No. The bag is designed for one time use. Because raw meat products are placed
in the bag, we do not recommend using it more than once.

What is the shelf life of Jack Daniel’s® EZ Marinader®?
The recommended shelf life for Jack Daniel’s® EZ Marinader® is one year from
the date of production. Once opened and used, the bag must be discarded.

Can you freeze and defrost foods in the Jack Daniel’s® EZ Marinader® bag?
Yes. The flavor seal bag is designed to allow consumers to marinate and freeze
food right in the package. Once frozen (3 month time limit recommended), the
package can be safely thawed in the refrigerator . However, do not use in a
microwave to defrost bag. There is a metallic liner on the inside of the bag.
